SolaElastin™ is a functionalized elastin hydrolysate designed for high solubility and radical polymerization.

It readily dissolves at concentrations of 20%, enabling precise tuning of hydrogel properties through polymerization.

Free carboxylic groups provide additional sites for functionalization, including modification of cell interactions and secondary chemical crosslinking to further tune mechanical properties.
